Kitchen Cabinetary Respray

If like many other people you would rather have your kitchen cabinets refinished as opposed to having your kitchen ripped out  and re-done then we may be able to help you. Save yourself the hassle of having your kitchen gutted simply by re-spraying your cabinets and units.

You may be wondering how cost effective is this process and what kind of results can be achieved. The answer to both of these questions is fairly simple. Yes its cost effective, adding up the cost of new units, doors and draws - it all adds up! Its a no-brainer, you will save money!

Regarding the second question; the result will be a flawless finish. Using 2 coats of primer before any colour has been sprayed we ensure any dents, dings and imperfections are filled so that when we apply colour to the doors, draws or units they will look brand new.

Our process is in 2 parts, one part is at your home spraying your cabinets and the second part is at our spray shop where we spray your doors and draws.

A Preview Of Our Process

Step 1: We arrive at your home. Lay protective flooring down and remove doors/draws. We label them and safely packaging therm ready for transportation to our spray shop.

Step 2:  If the Cabinets have a melamine casing then we use a heat gun to remove this and any excess glue .

Step 3: Using industrial strength cleaners we strip the doors of any grease or anything which contaminate the finish.

Step 4: We fill the doors and draws using 2 part filler and wood filler. We sand and dust.

Step 5 We spray the first primer

Step 6: We fill again ensuring everything has been filled so the doors/draws are free from any blemishes. We sand again and dust off.

Step 7: We apply second primer and allow to dry.

Step 8: We sand using a fine sanding pad and dust off.

Step 9: We apply first finishing coat

Step 10: We sand and dust off with a very fine sanding pad

Step 11: We apply final coat of finish and the process is complete. We allow the doors and draws time to cure at the unit whilst we work at the house spraying the cabinets using a similar process. At the home we also mask off the inside of the cabinets ensuring no over spray hits the back off cabinets and is caught by the masking.
